This course includes readings and video tutorials that will help you acquire the necessary skills to make the most of Mainsim CMMS regardless of your industry. The course is structured into 6 units covering:

Unit 1. Getting Started with CMMS:
What is a CMMS, how data is organized, what are the main functionalities, and how they help improve asset and maintenance management.

Unit 2. Interface and Navigation:
We’ll help you get familiar with the system and the graphical interface of the main modules.

Unit 3. Asset Management:
We’ll show you how to inventory assets and organize information within the CMMS in the most appropriate way.

Unit 4. Ticketing and Work Orders:
What are the advantages of digital Work Orders? In this unit, we explain how interventions are managed and information is collected using a CMMS.

Unit 5. Maintenance Planning:
This unit is entirely dedicated to creating maintenance plans and managing deadlines with the support of Smart Assistant, mainsim’s AI.

When does the course start and end?

The course starts now and never ends. It is a completely self-paced online course: you decide when to start and when to finish.

How long do I have access to the course?

What about unlimited access? Once you’re enrolled, you’ll have access to the course for as long as you need. You can access it as many times as you want, from wherever you want. Additionally, you’ll have access to the community where you can meet other mainsim users like yourself to exchange opinions, seek advice, or help your colleagues in need.

How long will it take me to complete the course and obtain certification?

The CMMS Expert course is comprised of 6 separate modules, at the end of each of which you’ll need to answer some multiple-choice questions to demonstrate your skills. The estimated completion time for the entire course is about 1 to 1.5 hours.

What will I receive upon completion of the course?

All participants who successfully complete the CMMS Expert course receive a certificate of proficiency and a badge to add to their LinkedIn profile to showcase their skills to everyone.

Is the course free?

Yes, the mainsim CMMS Expert course is free. Soon, new courses will be added, some of which may also be paid. However, to access those, you’ll need to upgrade your plan from standard (free) to premium.
